Groin strain or sprain is a common injury in both explosive and endurance sports. The use of compression for support of damaged tissues can reduce pain and protect the injured muscles and tendons. The Adjustable Groin Helix can be comfortably placed high in the groin and positioned to support piriformis and buttock muscles.
Recent research has shown that warming scar tissue makes that tissue more pliable and stretchable. Use of a compression brace keeps the groin and buttocks warm and supports the damaged tendons.
If injury management or prevention is your goal, wearing our groin compression brace means your muscles start warm, stay warm, and remain warm while your muscles and joints recover, making the Adjustable Groin Helix an excellent choice for groin support to aid in the treatment of groin and buttock injuries.
Our fabric features Moisture Activated Adherence, which utilizes the heat/sweat from your body and allows the fabric to act like an adherent between your skin and the product. It won’t slip or move during activities. In addition, because a Helix features Closed-Cell Fabric Science technology, it won’t hold sweat or water and you’ll never have to worry about odors or health issues from trapped bacteria. It can be washed and dried after each wear.

What is the difference between the Thigh Helix and the Adjustable Groin Helix?
The Adjustable Groin Helix specifically supports the proximal adductor longus, gracilis and buttock muscles. More groin support is provided by the Groin Helix and more thigh muscle support is provided by the Thigh Helix and Full Thigh Helix (Long).
Proper fit is important
The Adjustable Groin Helix is available in one size fits most but not all. The benefit of compression is lost unless the extra large athlete is lean. The length is 51.5″.
